This page explains the cookies and browser storage BioPeptide uses. We keep this deliberately minimal: we do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind.

What We Use

• biopeptide_session (cookie) — keeps you signed in to your account. Removed automatically after 30 days, or immediately when you log out.
• biopeptide-cart (browser local storage) — remembers what's in your shopping cart between visits.
• biopeptide-gate-accepted (browser local storage) — remembers that you've confirmed you're 18+ and purchasing for research use, so you aren't asked again on every visit.

Why We Don't Ask for Consent

Every item above is "strictly necessary" for a feature you've actively chosen to use — signing in, keeping a cart, or getting past the research-use gate. Under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary storage like this is exempt from the cookie-consent requirement, unlike analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies, none of which we currently use.

If This Changes

If we add analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking in the future, this policy will be updated and a consent banner will be shown before any such technology is activated.

Managing Storage

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser's settings. Doing so will sign you out and clear your saved cart.
